Baked Apple Rose Pastry

Prep Time: 20 minutes Cook Time: 45 Minutes
Servings: 8

1 Red Apple, (any  kind you like to bake with)
1/3 cup cream cheese
2 sheets puff pastry
4 tablespoons white granulated sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  1.  Cut apple in half, core and thinly slice
  2. Lay the slices on a paper plate and microwave for 2 minutes
  3. Roll out puff pastry to 12 in long, Cut the edges to make it straight. Cut lengthwise into four even strips.
  4. Spread cream cheese on half the pastry lengthwise. Spread melted butter on the other half.
  5. Lay the apple slices on the cream cheese half of the pastry leaving some of the arch sticking over the edge and overlap them. leave an inch empty at the end. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar on the whole strip.
  6. Fold the puff pastry lengthwise on top of the apples slices.
  7. Start on the end with the apples and roll up. Pinch the end of the pastry to seal the pastry.
  8. Spread melted butter in the muffin pan and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  9. Place rolled up dough in buttered and sugared muffin pan. Brush tops with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  10. Bake for 45 minutes at 375 until golden brown. Take out of the muffin tin immediately
  11. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or top with caramel sauce.
