Instant Pot Pizza Lasagna

Instant Pot Lasagna

  • 24 ounces marina sauce (use homemade or favorite store brand)
  • 1/2 pound Italian sausage
  • 1/2 pound hamburger
  • 4 ounces pepperoni
  • 8 ounces shredded mozzarella
  • 8 to 10 no bake lasagna noodles
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • salt and pepper
White Sauce
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cup parmesan
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • salt and pepper
  1. Set your Instant Pot to sauté. Put in sausage, hamburger, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Break apart and cook until brown. 7 minutes. Drain the meat and set aside. Clean out the pot
  2. Melt butter into clean pot on sauté. Add flour, let cook for 2 minutes. Add in milk while stirring constantly. Grate fresh nutmeg and add salt and pepper. Bring to a boil then turn off and add the parmesan cheese, mix until combined. Pour in a bowl. Clean the pot.
  3. Spray 7 inch cake pan with cooking spray. Spread a thin layer of sauce on the bottom. Break noodles to fit into pan and make one layer. Spread half the béchamel over the noodles. Layer the pepperoni on and then sprinkle 1/3 of the meat over it. Then top with a 1/4 of the sauce. and sprinkle a 1/4 of the mozzarella cheese and repeat again 2 more times. For the top layer put the lasagna noodles, sauce and top with mozzarella and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  4. Put a cup of water in the bottom of the pot. Place the trivet in the bottom.. Put the lasagna in a sling. You can buy one or make one by folding a 24-inch sheet of foil lengthwise twice and place pan in the center of foil using excess as handles. Set the lasagna on the trivet, then cover the pot. Set the Pressure Cook on high and set for 30 minutes. Manually release the valve when it is done.
  5. Place cooked lasagna under a broiler until the top gets golden bubbly. If you can, let it cool for 30 minutes, I can never wait!
